I fish a lot from the shore and then the handle could have been longer or consisted of a telescopic part which creates more length. For in the boat this is perfect.

When I just bought it I didn't find dimensions, I just went for the XL at random. This one is bigger than expected though. I see it does have dimensions listed now, that makes the choice easier.
