I have now used the Ultimate Alerta Bite Alarm Set 3+1 several times and am extremely satisfied with it. The bite detectors are very sensitive and give perfect signals both in daytime and at night thanks to the built-in LED lights. The range of the receiver is impressive - I could sit a short distance away without missing a take without any problems. The set feels solid and durable, and is easy to adjust to your own preferences (volume, pitch and sensitivity). The included case is also very handy for safely transporting the set. As far as I'm concerned, this is the ideal bite alarm set for both novice and experienced anglers. Good quality, reliable to use and excellent value for money. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to fish comfortably and effectively!
