- Ensure all bite alarms and receiver are switched off
- Hold down both buttons on the receiver until it turns on and the red LED illuminates
- Turn on the relevant alarm and roll the reel until it beeps, and the receiver moves to the next colour
- To skip colours on the receiver, press the volume button
- The receiver turns off once the last alarm is paired

I think this bite detector set is optimal for beginner carp fisherman as the starter. I like that they are 100% waterproof, because I also just fish in the rain. It is also nice that it has an adjustable LED that you can turn on / off for battery saving. I also like that there is a receiver in the set. Because of the receiver you don't have to constantly stand right behind the rods also don't miss a take. In short a very decent set for a very decent price.
