Since larger catfish occasionally get in when trolling, the rod almost tore out of the rod holder twice. I ordered the Ultimate safety Stinger to try it out. I think they are great, simply click them around in front of the reel and the blank is secured. You don't have to unhook it first when you bite, as the cable is very flexible and you can both strike and crank it in freely.
