In this pouch, my rods are protected top and bottom without having to disassemble everything, like reels and such. There are 3 separate compartments with sturdy zippers to safely store rods and other fragile gear. An umbrella can be attached to the outside of the bag, although it will be quite heavy. Fortunately, the case is equipped with 2 adjustable and very strong carrying straps so that you can carry it like a backpack.
