I myself first had digital scales but they broke down quickly, the battery was empty and I'm done with that! Especially after I couldn't weigh my previous PR due to scale failure.... Now this analog scale and this thing is solid, easy to read (even when you're alone) and I never have to worry about batteries or the battery. Never could not weigh a fish again!!!
