Used this for some early winter predator fishing and used some heavier lures. Worked well when hooked into medium to large fish and got them into the bank without problem.

Ive seen other rods and this one is appealing well made and comfortable to use all day,using heavy lures plastics and strong enough to get stuck lures out the kelp or sea grass . Good enough for rivers and lakes.
