Stiffer rod than what I had but because of the sensitive tip you can see the smallest bites . Carp caught 60cm with the 3 meter variant

+ Great rod for that price

Hans

If you still doubt the quality of this rod (due to its price), don't. I use it for whitefish but have also accidentally caught a sturgeon and a mirror carp. I have the 3 and 3,30m versions with shimano FX2500 and FX3000 reels (also very affordable) and 24/100 feederline from Guru.

+ Strength rod

+ Comes with 3 tops so widely applicable

+ Good throwing characteristics

- With light top less accurate at longer distances

Ronnie

I have the 3.3m variant. The 0.5oz top is stiff enough not to bother too much with wind and the 1.5oz top is even sensitive enough for small roaches etc. Just too bad you can't carry the tops in the hand section. That would really make these rods perfect. But that's a minuscule minus point on these otherwise great rods, because they come in a tube and just go in the holdall. Purchased for bream and larger roach, but hefty tench and carp over 70cm it can handle too. As long as you use the slip properly they are stronger than you would think. Handles well and casts fine.

+ throwing properties

+ short transport length

+ strong

- The additional included tops you have to bring separately

- NO TRANSFER EYE
