I bought the rod specifically to fish for tench. I have not had any yet, but I have had bream and roach. The acrie in the rod lets you feel the fish. The rod is perfect for what I bought it for.

Haven't really been in action with this bolo rod yet, so I'm hoping that despite its slender appearance there is also enough power in it to handle a nice fish. I bought this bolo because of its price. The advantage of this rod is that you can stay well away from the shore, thus scaring off the fish less, and have more chances of catching them.
